Weddings at St James

Baptisms at St James
We're here to offer you and your family a warm, comforting and meaningful experience for both baptisms and funerals.
Baptisms, also known as Christenings, are a special moment for families and individuals to publicly declare their faith and become part of the Christian community.
Whether you're looking to have your little one baptised or would like to be baptised as an adult, our curate, Joel will get in touch to take you through everything you need to do to prepare, both practically and spiritually.
Funerals at St James
If you have lost a loved one we are here to support you. We offer traditional funeral services that are respectful, compassionate and anchored in the hope, peace and comfort we find in Jesus.
We believe that every life is valuable and deserves a proper farewell, and we'll do everything we can to make sure your loved one is remembered in the way they deserve.
If you're interested in booking either a baptism or funeral, please get in touch with us by emailing info@stjameskidbrooke.org. We'll be more than happy to help and guide you through the process.
Main Church Hall hire
St James Church Hall has a generous amount of space for private event hire. The hall has ample car parking and a kitchen.
(An additional payment of £100 will be required. This will be reimbursed if the hall is returned in a good condition after the booking.)
Parties: Please note that we only take bookings for parties for children aged between 4 and 10 years, not for adult or baby parties.
Price: £33 per hour
Children's Party Package
This is a four-hour Saturday for parties of children aged between 4 and 10 years. The four-hour period includes the time needed to set up and clear away.
(An additional payment of £100 will be required. This will be reimbursed if the hall is returned in a good condition after the booking.)
Price: £132
The Giddings Room
The Giddings Room is a comfortable smaller room at the rear of the church hall with coffee-making facilities, ideal for small groups.
Price: £20 per hour.
