The Well is taking a summer break following the session on 15th July. We’ll be back in the second week of September.
Fancy a workout with your baby or toddler?
Come and join us for The Well, a mums' exercise and fitness group that takes place at 9:45am on Mondays and Wednesdays during the school term at St James Kidbrooke's church hall.
The Well's facilitator, Ruth, has tailored the sessions to the postpartum period, and they can be attended with or without your child (0-4 years, pre-reception starting age).
The work-out is usually 60 minutes followed by time for coffee, smoothies and connection. The current class capacity is 12 women, and we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so please do just turn up. If you find the class is busy, you're welcome to stay in our sofa area and enjoy coffee and community while your children play.
We supply toys, bouncers, mats, and play areas for babies and toddlers, with volunteers from the church on-site supporting them to play while you work out. Free-flow parenting, breastfeeding, and cuddling are encouraged!
We ask for donations from £8 per session.
To be added to the WhatsApp group for The Well, please email your phone number to info@stjameskidbrooke.org.
NB: Please be advised that this exercise class is a community led initiative and therefore uncoached. The workouts will be facilitated by members of St James’ and/or St Peter’s Church but these facilitators are not yet qualified. This means that you participate at your own risk. St James nor the facilitators take no responsibility and are not liable for events or anything that occurs during the course of these exercise classes.
