Offbeat Performing Arts is a brand new weekly performing arts programme at St James Kidbrooke for young people in Year 7 and above.
Whether you've been performing for years or you're trying something completely new, Offbeat Performing Arts is a place to grow in confidence, develop your creativity, make lasting friendships and perform together in a supportive environment.
Autumn Term 2026
Theme: Inspired by The Greatest Showman
Throughout the term we'll learn songs, choreography and scenes inspired by The Greatest Showman, working towards a live performance at the Love Kidbrooke Charity Fundraiser Concert in December.

We never want finances to be a barrier to taking part, so a limited number of bursaries are available for low-income families.
Who is it for?
Young people in Year 7 and above who enjoy singing, dancing, acting, rapping or simply want to try something new. No previous experience is needed; everyone is welcome.
Places are limited and advance booking is recommended.
